Monday night at the club saw the final of the 2022 League Cup being played between Jamie MacPherson and Dave Pritchard. This was another gruelling 21-point match that took nearly 4 hours to complete.

For much of the match Dave Pritchard was in a commanding position with an early lead of up to seven points, but as always with long matches, the pendulum eventually swung and Jamie pulled back the deficit, creating an exciting and close end to the match. At one point in the bear-off in game 27, Jamie was 93% favourite to win the match, but got hit from the bar by Dave to take the match to a deciding game.

The final game went in Dave's favour, giving him a final 21-19 victory.

We again learned some lessons about streaming technique, particularly with regards to lighting positioning and preventing the camera from flicking between portrait and landscape. Hopefully next time the stream will be better again.
